Condolence From: Tom Butcher

Condolence: I grew up with Bob, we were classmates through high school. In all my travels, and friendships I have never known any soul whose light brightly shined continually. His parents, brothers sisters were first class as well. His parents made me feel as welcome in their home, and treated me as if I were one of their own. Unfortunately we seldom were able to see one another after high school, but on the few occasions when I was able to get back home we would run into each other and visit about the old times growing up on the hill. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones. He was an outstanding child, young man, and I am certain, continued that throughout his life. I was blessed to grow up in an area that produces such outstanding people, none better than this genuinely gracious and remarkable soul. God Speed old friend, you are already missed, but your memories will mark others as fortunate to made your acquaintance.

Condolence: I worked with Bob in the late seventies at McDonough Caperton. I especially enjoyed his work with the Kanawha Players. He played the best Renfield I have ever seen in Dracula production on stage or in the movies. May he rest in peace.
