Obituary for George Carr Jr.

George Carr, Jr.
George Carr, Jr., 50, of Elkview was tragically killed in a tractor accident on Sunday, August 16, 2015.

He leaves behind his wife, Julie Myers Carr; sons, Corey (Brittany), Cody (Kaitlyn); daughter, Caley; parents, George(Tina) Carr, Sr., Joann(Larry)Nelson, brother, Brady (Melissa); sisters, Darlene and Marnie; mother-in-law Linda Myers. He was expecting his first granddaughter, Kinley in October.

He graduated from Dupont High School 1984, was a member of the Army National Guard and a heavy equipment operator.

Service will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Elkview Church of Christ with Minister Andy Shamblin officiating. Burial will be in the Myers Cemetery, Blue Creek.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Hafer Funeral Home.
