Bethel Jane Spradling, 92, of Elkview, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
Bethel was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed a fruitful life gardening, canning, camping, fishing and quilting.
Bethel is preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Wilbur Lee Spradling; parents, Amet and Nancy Thomas Whited; son, Alan Robert Spradling; grandson, Jason Lee Spradling; sister, Berhldine Easter and son-in-law, Arch Hunter.
Bethel is survived by her children; Barbara Hunter, Linda (Glenn) Kennedy, Nelson (Barbara) Spradling, Stephen (Sandy) Spradling, Deborah (Richard) Boggess, and Timothy (Peggy) Spradling; daughter-in-law, Brenda Spradling; brothers, Bevan (Virginia) Whited, Burton (Wanda) Whited, Brell (JoAnn) Whited; sisters, Berneda (Harrry) Vance and Sharon (Benny) Bess; 18 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

A service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Hafer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Upper Pinch Memorial Garden, Pinch.
Visitation will be 6 pm to 8 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Hafer Funeral Home.
