Obituary for Helen Phillips (Harless)

Helen Phillips, 86, of Pinch passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was retired from the Department of Highways for the State of WV; and after retirement worked for the State of WV during Legislation session proof reading. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Luther B. Harless and Mable Hughes Harless; daughter, Kay Ann Harrison; sister, Mary Harless Childress.

She is survived by her sons, Randy (Debbie) Buckner of Pinch; Steve Buckner of Florida; sister, Peggy (Ted) Melton of Elkview; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Pastor Jeff Moales officiating. No visitation will be held. Burial will follow in the cemetery.

The funeral procession will leave Hafer Funeral Home at 1:15pm for the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Priceway, Charleston, WV 25311.
