James "Jimmy" Wirt Cavender
James Wirt Cavender 70, of Clendenin, passed away on Saturday October 8, 2016 after a short illness.
James was a Christian and enjoyed going to church, loved gardening, yard sales, and watching horror movies and westerns.
James is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Hope Mullins Cavender who passed away in 2005, Peggy Lou McCamey Cavender who passed away in 2015, parents Andrew and Naomi Cavender, brothers Hershel Cavender, Donald Cavender, and sister Hilda Cooper.
He is survived by son James Wirt Cavender II (Joyce), daughter Michelle Renee Nichols, brother Arnold Gene Cavender, sister Ruby Newhouse, and granddaughter Lilly Nichols.
Service will be 2:00PM Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Nichols Officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery, Clover WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank Joyce Cavender, James special daughter in law and primary caregiver, also Mountaineer home health care and Hospice for all of their help during this time.
