Paul Jerry "Slim" Norman, 64, of Elkview passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a short illness.
He was a mechanic for Xylem Dewatering Solutions, and a 1970 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School. Slim enjoyed being outdoors, including hunting and golf, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell H. Norman and Lettie May Cavender Norman; sister- Millie (Carl) Rogers; brothers- Chuck (Evelyn) Norman, and Don Norman.
Surviving is loving wife of 43 years, Shella Ann Kelly Norman; daughter- Paula Norman; son- Scott Norman; sisters, Shirley (Guy) Kelly, Evelyn (Rusty) Stover; brothers, Gene (Linda) Norman and Dave (Joann) Norman; sister-in-law- Gail Norman; apple of his eye granddaughter, Chloe Blair Brown.
Service will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Luke Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
Visitation will be 12-2pm Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
