Deloris Bonnie Romine, 72, of Clendenin, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at her residence after a short illness.
Deloris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother. She loved to sew, was a great cook, enjoyed going camping with the family, but most of all loved spending time with all her family. She was a Teacher Aid for Kanawha County Schools.
She was born February 19, 1943 to the late Darrell Richardson and Oma Dawson Richardson. Also preceded her in death was her daughter, Kimberly Jane and a brother, Dana Lee Richardson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jerry Romine; son, Jerry Alan and Natalie Romine of Virginia; daughters, Terry and Wes Lambert of Elkview, Cynthia and Alvin Smith of Walton, Kelly and James Dalton of Clendenin; son, Michael and Carla Romine of Elkview; daughter, Kim and David Milhoff of Ohio, Larry Romine of Clendenin; brothers, Jackie Richardson of Elkview and Ron Richardson of Buffalo, WV. She has 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Hardman Cemetery, Nebo.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.
