Obituary for Michael Dennis Davenport

Michael Dennis Davenport
Michael Dennis Davenport 50, of Sissonville, WV passed away January 16, 2015 at his residence.
Born January 19, 1964 in Norfolk, VA. he was the son of the late Rev. James H. Davenport and Margaret Ann Dodds Davenport of Manteo.
In Addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Tammy of the home, one brother Don Davenport of New Braunfels, TX and one sister Linda Jones of Mechanicsville, VA. Also one step-daughter Amanda Reavis, a step-son Jonathan Reavis, and two step-grandsons all of South Charleston, WV.
He was a graduate of Manteo High School and West Virginia State University and was a member of Manteo Baptist Church. Michael worked locally for Dare County and Beach Realty before moving to West Virginia.
A celebration banquet of his life will be 2-6 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, South Charleston.
In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to Tammy /or Amanda Reavis at 446 McDonald Avenue, South Charleston, WV 25309.
