Carma Lee Crede
On Sunday, December 14, 2014, Carma Lee Withrow Crede at the age of 79, surronded by her loving family at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home went to be with her Heavenly Father and family after a long courageous battle with heart disease, cancer and diabetes.
Carma was a member of Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many people that she always put first throughout her life. She had the most loving, courageous and generous heart that touched many lives with her presence. Carma truly loved spending time and going to watch her eight grandchildren perform various activities and visiting with her four great grandchildren.
As for her accomplishments, she graduated from South Charleston High School, received an associate degree from Charleston Business College, and co-founder of Crede Tractor Sales. Carma attended every WVU football game and bowl game for 20 plus years. Her travels included going to numerous countries in Europe, Caribbean Islands, Alaska, Hawaii, RVing and attending Harry's Navy reunions throughout the U.S.A.
Carma was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Wilbur and Ader (Covey) Withrow, Hascal(Sue), Carl(Eva), Juanita Creighton(Bill), Denzel(Mildred), Oral Withrow.
Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Harry Crede, children are Garry (Kristen, Christen, Emerson, Case); Billy and Connie (Bill, Caity and Joshua Stricker, Phillip Ivanova, Nionila Ivanova and Vasiliy); Robin Long (Joshua(Nevaeh), Dennis and Becky(Zackary and Kristyn, Patrick); Kevin and Rhonda(Kelsey Harrah(Kate) and Kaleb).
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014 at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church, Elkview with Father Jim Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
Visitation will be 6-9 pm Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014 at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview with prayer service being held at 8:30 pm.
