Obituary for Franklin M Lyons

Franklin M. Lyons

Franklin M. Lyons, 79, of Charleston passed away June 24, 2014 at CAMC General Hospital. He was born to James E. and Enith Bruni Lyons on August 25, 1934 in Charleston. Franklin was a Heavy Equipment Operator in which retired from Valley Camp Coal Company. In his down time, he thoroughly enjoyed working on vehicles.

He is preceded in death by his wife Stella Jane Vance, Parents James E and Enith Bruni Lyons, Brother, James G. Lyons and Sister, Donna Saunders.

He is survived by:

Son: Darrell Lyons of Brooksville, Florida

Granddaughter: Charity S. Lyons of South Carolina

Niece: Carolyn Parsons

Nephew: Vincent Pitzer

Sister in Laws:
Shirley Fields
Edith Vance (Raymond)
Nancy Gilmore

Service will be held Saturday June 28, 2014 at Hafer Funeral Home, 50 North Pinch Rd., and Elkview with Pastor. Jerry Vance officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Mausoleum.
Visitation will be two hours prior.
