Mary E. Osborne
Mary E. “Nanny” Osborne, 83 of Elkview passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at her daughter’s residence with her family and her dog Sammy by her side.
She was a member of Lucy Wilson Baptist Church, attended the Elkview Senior Center and previously worked for WVU Extension office out of Charleston. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, singing with her sisters and shopping.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Leoda Jennings; husband Monroe Osborne; sisters: Betty Wolfe and Peggy Nunley, brothers Conn Jennings, Demp Jennings and Bernard Jennings.

Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Hafer Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Williams officiating and prayers given by Rev. Ron Good and Rev. Art Morrison. Burial will follow at the Osborne/Carte Cemetery, Wills Creek.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
