Obituary for Helen Marie Parker
Helen Marie Parker, 65, of Walton, entered into her peaceful sleep at home surrounded by her family Wednesday, May 17, 2023 and is awaiting the coming of her Lord Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Virginia Wanner and her daughter, Stephanie Light.
Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She truly loved her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She was a Christian and member of Antioch Advent Christian Church. Helen was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School and pursued a career in nursing and graduated from the University of Charleston. She retired from nursing after working for CAMC and St. Francis hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Rick Parker; sons, Robert (Jennifer) Light and Matt (Trixie) Parker; daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Kreitz; brothers, Alan, Dale, John Wanner and their spouses; sisters, Sharon Williams, Nancy Wanner, and Carol Raines; and grandchildren, Leah and Amara Light, Travis and Madison Parker, and Miles and Thomas Kreitz; and great granddaughter, Victoria Kreitz.
A service will begin at 3pm, Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Antioch Advent Christian Church, with Pastor Terry Johnson and Pastor Frank Allen officiating.
Visitation will be from 2pm - 3pm at the church.
