Obituary for Robert "Bob" Paul Fields Sr.
Robert "Bob" P. Fields, 83, of Elkview went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston.
Bob loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially farming, gardening, and hunting. He was a member of the Teamster Union, and worked for Kroger where he retired after 29 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie Irene Harris, and Charles Harris.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Fields of 64 years, daughter, Cindy (Bill) Wehrle, Sandra (Tom) Handcock, Rita (David) Nary, and son, Robert Jr. (Kathy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Hafer Funeral Home, burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park in Big Chimney.
Visitation will be from 12:30pm-2:00pm at Hafer Funeral Home.
