Obituary for James Robert Edwards Jr.
James Robert Edwards Jr., 71, of Sissonville left this earth to go to his heavenly home, March 13, 2023 with his sister Tina by his side.
He loved spending time with his soul mate, Salome sharing companionship front porch sitting and watching tv. He served his country in the U.S. Army for several years, including the Vietnam Era in multiple capacities. He worked in private security for many years after his military service.
He is preceded in death by mother, Ethel Edwards, father, James Edwards, brother, Kenneth Edwards, nieces and nephews.
He is survived by Salome Walker, his soul mate of thirty years, sister, Tina Sullivan (Robert) and Cheryl McCallister (James), and many nieces and nephews.
To honor James wishes, his earthly remains have been cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
