Obituary for Lovern Mae Dunlap (Leeson)
Lovern Mae Dunlap, 77, of Elkview went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January, 27, 2023 at CAMC General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harrold D. Dunlap; parents, George W. Leeson Sr. and Ellen May Lesson; and brother, Eddie Greene.
Lovern was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to the care of her family and work at Capitol City Nursing Home. She enjoyed crocheting and coloring books and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Conkle of Ga., Christopher Conkle of Fl., Jeffrey Conkle of South Charleston, David Conkle of St. Albans, and David Dunlap of Wisconsin; daughters, Shawn Morrisson of South Charleston and Lisa Gibson of S. Charleston; brothers, George W. Leeson, Jr. of Elkview, and Jessie (Susan) Greene of Davis Creek, and four grandchildren.
In honor of Lovern's wishes, there will be a visitation for family and friends Saturday, February 4, 10am - 11am. Burial will follow at Harper Cemetery on Dutch Ridge.
