Elizabeth Ann "Peggy" Melton
Peggy Melton, 83, of Pinch passed away peacefully Thursday, November 17, 2022 while at home.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Teddy Melton; parents, Luther and Mabel Harless; son, Dennis Melton; granddaughter, Tammy Carney; sisters, Helen Phillips and Mary Childress.
Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, canning, decorating her home for the holidays, and ceramic painting with friends. Peggy was a member of the Eastern Star. She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons; Rodney Melton, James Melton, and John Melton; daughter in law, Connie Melton; grandchildren, Thomas, Elizabeth, Kyle, Tianna, Jada, and Mei; great grandchildren, Marcus, William, Xavier, Kinley, Abraham, Theodore, Eleanor, Woodrow, baby Sparks, and special caregiver, Becky Buckner Miller.
The service will begin at 1:00pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Hafer Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Moales officiating. Burial will follow at the Harless Cemetery in Pinch.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
