HUBERT VAUGHN CARPENTER, JR.
Hubert Vaughn Carpenter, Jr. was born March 09, 1967 in Charleston, West Virginia and entered into eternal life with the Lord on October 15, 2022.
Vaughn was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend to many. The love and caring he shared with his family and friends will never be forgotten and we are eternally grateful to have his presence in each of our lives.
Vaughn is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Vaughn and Judith (Hissom) Carpenter; and his sister, Pamela Gail Carpenter.
He will be remembered always by his son Derek Vaughn Carpenter (Taylor); step son Justin Lee Smith; brother Shawn “Snapper” Carpenter; sister Tonya Lynn Carpenter; grandson Ezra Vaughn Carpenter; step granddaughter Ryliegh Paige Jackson; nieces Taylor Samual (Chance), Shatona Bishop, Taylor Carpenter, Emily Carpenter; several great nieces and nephews; along with a multitude of friends and loved ones that will forever cherish his memory.
Visitation will be from 5:00PM – 7:00PM on Thursday, October 20 at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview with services following at 7:00PM. The Rev. Gordon Killion will be officiating.
