Warren Douglas Raines, 78, of Elkview went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at home.
Warren enjoyed participating in horse shoe tournaments, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the Elk River Hunting Club.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife; Betty Raines, daughter; Tammy Raines, parents; Ralph and Alma Raines, and sister; Barbara Justice.
He is survived by daughter; Becky Veltri of Charleston, brother; William Raines of Elkview, sisters; Carol Westfall of Williamstown, Dorothy Stalnaker of Williamstown, grandchild; Trevor Veltri, good friends; "Hoot Owl" , Tim Critchfield, and best friend, his dog; Jackson.
A funeral service will be at 12:00pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Hafer Funeral Home, with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park in Big Chimney.
Visitation will be from 11:00am-12:00pm at Hafer Funeral Home in Elkview.
