Daniel Walls, 83, of Charleston went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at CAMC General.
Daniel was a devout Christian that loved the Lord and his church. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He retired from West Virginia American Water after 45 years of service. Daniel was loved by everyone who knew him and will be sadly missed by friends, family, neighbors, and church family.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Carolyn Walls, parents; Donald Walls, and Freda May Jones, sister Peggy Burdette, and granddaughter; Elizabeth.
Daniel is survived by his sons; Jeff (Debbie), Steve (Jacqueline), brothers; Donny Walls "Twin Brother", David Walls, and sister; Sharon, he is also survived by his grandchildren; Eric (Brandi), Chelsea (Scott), Shayla (Justin), Coltin, (Samantha).
A funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
