Romie M. Spencer 86, of Elkview passed away, April 28, 2022 after a short illness,
Romie was born June 23, 1935. He was a retired construction worker of 33 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother Dolly Spencer, loving wife; Betty (Milan) Spencer, daughters; Connie Ramsey, Janet Spencer, and his sons Larry Spencer and James Monk.
He is survived by his sister Ann Jackson; loving children Rick and Robbie Spencer of Aarons Fork Road; Sherry and Roger Crowder of Elkview, Wanda Spencer of Coopers Creek, Lisa and Scott Hermansdarfer of Charleston and Stevie Spence of Aarons Fork, grandchildren; Matthew, JR, Jason, Samantha, Cody, Michael, Ray, Larry, Tyler, Steven, Tiffany, Peyton, Devon, Amanda, Dustin, Megan, and his five great great grandchildren; Brynlee, River, Waylon, Jayda and Matthew.
A graveside service will be at 11:00am Monday, May 2, 2022 at Baxter Cemetery in Aarons Fork with Pastor Roger Hammonds officiating.
