Obituary for Guy Monroe Osborne
Guy Monroe Osborne, 44, of Elkview, passed away on April 18th, 2022.
Guy was born on October 5, 1977, to Chuck and Joyce Osborne. After Guy graduated from Herbert Hoover High School, he attended Fairmont State University and the University of Charleston. He then began a long, successful career in the oil and gas industry working for Mcjunkin Corporation and then senior material coordinator at Black Rock Resources.
Left to mourn are his loving parents, Chuck and Joyce, his best friend and brother, Eric (Lindsay), cherished son, Judge, beloved wife, Bobbie, their precious daughter Charleston, and step daughter Savannah. Also left to grieve are his adored niece, Lailei, his greatly loved grandmother, Shirley Kelly, and many dedicated aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Guy was most known for his love of others and his passion for cooking. He often participated in chili cook offs around the area. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting. Guy was also a loyal WVU football fan.
Guy was preceded in death by his brother Buddy, maternal grandfather, Guy Kelly, paternal grandparents, Monroe and Mary Osborne, and uncles Boyce Kelly and Roy Osborne.
The service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hafer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Hafer Funeral Home.
Friends are invited to continue to celebrate Guy’s life immediately afterwards at the home of his brother Eric Osborne.
