Betty Holt, 70, of Elkview passed away, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Charleston Area Medical Center.
She was born in Clay County to the late Joe and Lona Walls. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Holt; son, Patrick Lewis; brother, Paul Walls; and sisters, Ella Mae Lesher and Neva Rider.
Betty was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing horseshoes where she won many tournaments and achieved many trophies. She was also a avid collector of Betty Boop.
She is survived by her companion, Virgil Lesher; her son, Michael Lewis; daughters Teresa (Steve) Ackerman and Lori Harter; brothers "Shorty" (Charlene) Walls and Harold Walls; sisters Myrtle (Jim) Boyce and Carol Truman; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Chauncy.
To honor Betty's wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be honored at a future date.
