William Morris Taylor, 73, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 9, 2020.
He was born in McCreary, Ky. to his late parents, Lewis & Ora Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Taylor; and grandson Dakota Taylor.
William was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He cared for his family, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite hobby was building model cars.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Mary) Taylor; daughter, Jeri (Jason) Rucker; sisters, Eula VanOver and Lucy Jones; grandchild Brady Taylor (USMC); step-children, Tammy Goff (James Durbin), James Rucker Jr., Mike Rucker, and Crystal Rucker (Thomas Dillon); step-grandchild, Anthony Goff; and special friend and caregiver, Ronnie Walls, Sr.
A graveside service will be 12pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Upper Pinch Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Lee Swor officiating.
Family and friends will be gathering at 11:30am for visitation at the graveside.
