Darrell Lee Campbell, 83, of St. Albans passed away Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 at CAMC Teays Valley.
He was a retired security guard for CAMC Memorial, and served his country in the WV Army Guard. Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Campbell; parents, William Campbell, Jr. and Virginia Kyle Campbell; brother, William Campbell; sisters, Dorothy Holstein, Betty Hunt.
He is survived by son, Robert (Angel) Pettry; daughters, Debora (Ira)Whittington, Carol Campbell and husband John Heater; sister, Drema Sisler, Judy, Linda and Geraldine; grandchildren, Lora Drenner, Sue Hubbard and Elizabeth Whittington; great grandchildren, Amber Ross, Becky Stephens, Brianna Pettry, Harley Smith, Dillon Pettry, Hunter Drenner and Cydney Drenner and three great great grandchildren; companion, Anita Mynes.
A graveside service will be 1:30pm Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 in Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston with Rev. P. D. Priddy officiating.
Visitation will be 12pm-1pm Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 at the funeral home.
