Larry "Grandad" Allen Haas
Larry "Grandad" Allen Haas, 71, of Elkview went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was retired from the Boiler Maker Union Local 667. Larry lived for his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed going hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening with them. He was always helping people work on things, and always joking with people.
He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Paul Haas; parents, Russell Haas and Orpha Thompson Hackney; brothers, William Haas, James Haas, and Herbert Haas.
Grandad was survived by his loving family, sons, Keith (Angela) Haas of South Charleston. Phillip (Amy) Haas of Elkview; daughter, Lisa (Jon) Haynes of Elkview; brother, Charles Haas of Scott Depot; grandchildren, Kayla, Briana, Alana, Nathaniel, Jetta, Jenna, Katelyn and Luke; and expecting his first great granddaughter. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held.
