Judith Ann Carpenter
Judith Ann Carpenter, 74, of Elkview, a faithful and loving mother passed away Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She was a member of Green Valley Mission Church on Little Sandy. Judith enjoyed making crafts, and playing Bingo. She was a retired CNA, from Kimberly Quality care.
She is survived by sons; Hubert Carpenter, Jr., and Shawn "Snapper" (Kelly) Carpenter, Tonya Carpenter. Judith is also survived by her sister, Wanda Hissom and grandchildren; Derek (Maria) Carpenter, Justin Smith, Taylor (Chance) Samuel, Shatona Bishop (Travis Simpson), Taylor and Emilee Carpenter, also survived by great-grandchildren Aubreanna Samuel, and Jocie Simpson.
Judith is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Carpenter, parents William and Dorothy Hissom, daughter; Pamela Gail Carpenter, brother; Raymond Hissom, and sisters; Barbara Hissom, Wanda Hissom, and Diana Hissom.
Service will be held 1:00pm Monday April 29th, 2019 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Gordy Kilion officiating. Burial will be in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV.
Visitation will be 4-6pm Sunday April 28th 2019 at Hafer Funeral Home.
