Janet Louise Rayhill
Janet Louise Rayhill, 88, of Elkview passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side.
She was a retired postmistress with the Pinch Post Office. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting, cooking, working crossword puzzles and traveling. Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, who will be sadly missed by her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clement Rayhill; parents, McKinley Harding and Opal Cobb Harding; daughters, Patricia Thompson, Sharon Nostrand.
Janet is survived by her son, Greg Rayhill, wife Penny; daughter, Pamela Humphreys, husband, Charlie; brother, Kelsey Harding; sisters, June Davis and Joyce Nichols. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank her caregiver, Judy Sears and Kanawha Hospice Care.
Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney with Pastor Cliff Curry officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery after the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Kanawha Hospice, 1606 Kanawha Blvd West, Charleston, WV 25387.
