William J (Bill) Mace
William J (Bill) Mace, 62, passed away on March 17, 2019, due to a long illness.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Mace, his mother, Margaret "Peggy" Honaker Mace and sisters; Deborah and Anna Marie.
Bill was loved in life by his beloved Drema, daughter Tennysa Mace; grandaughter, Felicity Rose; his brother Frank and numerous Aunts, Uncles, in-laws and cousins.
Bill had a 30 year career as a land surveyor and survey supervisor, most notably for Dewberry & Davis, Kelley Gidley, Blair & Wolfe, Wiser and Triad. He loved being outside and quality work was important to him. Bill loved to go into the quiet of a mountain and enjoy nature. He loved all sports and enjoyed golfing and playing church league softball. Bill was a Christian and secure in the knowledge that he would spend eternity in heaven.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Wednesday March 20, 2019 at Hafer Funeral Home.
Service will be at 7pm Wednesday March 20, 2019 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating.
