Ernestine Humphreys Dodd, 89, of Wills Creek, went to her Heavenly home Monday, March 11, 2019.
Ernestine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed growing beautiful flower gardens and going to yard sales. Her passion in life, was caring for her children and her love for God. Ernestine was a lifelong member of Lucy Wilson Baptist Church, and was always looking forward to eating out with a family member or friend.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, William Paul Dodd; sister, Annestine Hughes; grandchildren, Stephen P. Dodd II, Virginia Ann Dodd, and William E. Dodd II.
Ernestine is survived by her sons, Bill (Shawn) Dodd and Stephen (Brenda) Dodd; daughter, Sandra (Clarence) Deel; sisters, Roberta Siders and Betty Silverthorne; many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, March 18, 2019 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Clarence Deel and Pastor Rodney Good officiating.
Family will welcome visitors from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
