Obituary for Harold Lee Paxton

Harold Lee Paxton, 82, of Frame, passed away of natural causes on January 14, 2019 at his residence. He was born on December 17, 1936 to the late Virgil Lee and Alta Faye Dodd Paxton.

He was a graduate of Walton High School and retired from Sears Robuck and Company. He was an Army Veteran. In his younger years he was active in Little League, Football, Baseball, Softball, and Basketball. Harold belonged to the Coon Hunters Association and C.B. Club.

He was also preceded in death by his oldest son, James Harold "Jim" Paxton.

Harold is survived by his wife Bonnie Jean Ashcraft Paxton of 53 years; sons; Warren Lee (Jeannie), Harold Edward "Squirrel" (Patti); daughter, Jeanne Lee Huffman all of Frame; daughter-in-law, Janetta Paxton of Clendenin; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and one more expected in April. His sisters, Faye Starcher of Walton, Barbara Skiles (Arthur) of Millwood, WV; brother-in-law, Ernest Ashcraft (Mary Lee); sister-in-law, Darlene Moore (Harold).

A special thank you to all his friends that came to visit, and sent food and Prayers. To his Dr. Rohit Patel and to the Hospice staff. To all that helped in any way.

Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at the Myers Chapel of Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Burial will be at Upper Pinch Memorial Gardens, Pinch.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
