Nina Arlene Smith
Nina Arlene Smith, born May 18, 1934 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019 surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Young and father, Sherman Young. Also by her husband of 53 years, Larry P. Smith, Sr. and her son, Larry Paul Smith, Jr.
Nina is survived by her daughters, Connie Sue Halstead and her husband, Matt of Campbells Creek, Brenda K. Ashley and her husband, Joe of Fairmont; son, Philip C. Smith and wife, Rebecca of Scott Depot; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dog, Boots that she loved and cared for very much.
She loved working with her plants and flowers and could make anything grow. She was a hard worker always doing something staying busy, she loved her children with all her heart. She loved the Lord and was a very loving Mother and will be greatly missed by all.
Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Jan 5, 2019 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Burial will be in Clendenin Memorial Park, Clendenin.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
