Jerry L. Hash 71, of Elkview passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

He was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School. He liked fishing, turkey hunting, and spending time with his two adored dogs, Lulu and Daisy. Jerry enjoyed traveling and has visited many places around the world. He was a beloved friend and business owner of Hash Insurance Agency where he helped and assisted many families in the community.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Inez Hash.

Jerry is survived by his son, William G. (Jodi) Hash; cousins, Alice (Fred) Starr of Elkview, Matthew Starr and son Hunter, Kara (Jeremy) King of Amma, Kimberlyn Starr of Elkview, grandchildren, Logan and Caylee, best friend, Dave Mason and partner, Mary A. Myers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kanawha Charleston Humane Society, Greenbrier St., Charleston.

A service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview. Burial will follow at the Hughart Family Cemetery, Aaron's Fork Rd.

Visitation will begin 11:00am to 1:00pm.
