Obituary for Harold Layne "Hal" Weber

Print
Harold Layne "Hal" Weber Jr. (1945-2018) died August 15 at WVU Hospital from Parkinson Disease. He is survived by his beloved daughter Cheyanna, mother Martha, brother Scott (Pam), sister Cinda and companion LeeAnn Huffman and her children Dylan, Brittany and Holly.

Hal graduated from Huntington High and WVU. Hal was the owner of the first invisible fence business in the area and in later years the indispensable car guy at Good News Mountaineer Garage. He was a serving member of the Citizens Action Group. He was an avid environmentalist, accomplished sailor, erstwhile pilot, out of the box thinker, lover of old time music, goofy joke teller and all-around good guy.

A celebration of life service will be 3:00pm, Sunday, September 16th at the Good News Mountaineer Garage, 1637 4th Avenue, Charleston. Online condolences may be sent to www.haferfuneralhome.net.
