Thelma L. Brown Ellis
Thelma L. Brown Ellis, 84 of Blue Creek went home to be with the Lord on August 11, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. She was a Member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She loved working in her flowers and on her yard, and loved to cook. She was a member of the women's auxillary in Ripley and loved being involved in her community. She also was a member of the Clendenin Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Her greatest love was for her family.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband's Leroy Brown Sr. and Delano Ellis, her parents George and Louvernia Myers, her son Charles Gregory Brown, seven brothers and four sisters.
Thelma was survived by her sons Leroy and wife June Ann of Blue Creek , Larry Allen and wife Donna of Big Chimney, daughter Judith Ann and husband Ronald Goff of Coshoctton, Ohio, brother Billy Eugene Myers and wife Hilda of Sacramento, CA, she had four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was also survived by a host of nieces and nephews of whom she called her own.
Service will be 11:00AM August 15, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Pastor Ralph Standaford officiating. Burial will follow in the Myers Family Cemetery, Blue Creek.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 6-8PM August 14, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
