Ivan Paul Crowder, 81, passed away at his home in Ripley, on August 2, 2018. He was born on August 2, 1937 to the late Jiles and Tressie (Wilson) Crowder.

He served honorably in the United States Marines Corps.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, George Crowder, Mayford Crowder, Dewey Russell Crowder, Otto Crowder, Herbert Crowder, Fred Carte, and sister, Maxine Jones. He is survived by his brother, Robert (Marie) Carte of Elkview, special nephew, Robby Carte, as well as many other nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind several kind and caring friends and neighbors he has known for many years.

Ivan wished to be cremated and requested there be no services. His family will honor his wishes.
