Vincent "Chip" Roger Mullins, 71, of Blue Creek passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House, with his family by his side.
Vincent was born in Blakeley, to the late Lovell and Lena Mullins. He was a very loving son, husband, father, grand & great grandfather, and friend to all that knew him. He was retired as a coal miner, and enjoyed woodworking and being a craftsman. He was an outdoorsman, and like riding four wheelers, and he had a true passion for "being with God's creation."
Vincent was also preceded in death by his former wife, Marcella Mullins; brother, Charles Mullins; sisters, Betty Jane Hissom, Barbara Huddleston, and Leona Lanham; grandson, Shad Blankenship; and nephew, Shane Shuler.
Surviving is his loving wife, Susan Mullins; daughters, Mary (Gary) Blankenship, Sherry (Doug) Cummings, and Shannon (John) Lane; brother, Don (Phyllis) Mullins; grandchildren, April Blankenship, Brittany Lane, Tyler Jett, John Lane jr., and McKenzie Webb; step children, Willard, Louis, and Elizabeth Thompson; great grand children, Madison Blankenship and Garrett Blankenship; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1:00pm Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Arbogast officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
