Nellie Jones, 89, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 15 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

She married Clifford Jones in 1951 and lived a joyful life until he passed in 2016. Nellie was a very talented artist when it came to Quilting. She once graced the cover of Quilting World Magazines and sent President Ronald and Nancy Reagan a hand sewed Quilt. She was a 30 year member of Mount Pisgah Church, Coopers Creek.

Also preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifford Jones, daughter, Cindy Crowder, parents, Wilbur and Avilee Baldwin, brothers, Duke, Roy, Wilbur, Clem, Lawrence Baldwin and Chick Higginbotham; sisters, Lonia Burford, Julie Hill, Ruth Siders, Lalilliane Tate, Ernie Carpenter, Ocie Smith.

Surviving are her daughter, Gail Parson and Jeff White, son, Dana Jones and Christine; grandchildren, Jennifer and Boyce Hickman, Jamie Crowder and April Jones; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Cheyanne, Boyce Hickman, and many others.

Many thanks to her caregivers, CAMC, Hospice House, and Dr. John Richards, and many loved ones.

Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Art Morrison officiating. Burial will at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be 12-2pm Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the funeral home.
