Robert Lee Eggleton, Sr. 69, of Clendenin passed away on Saturday, Nov 4, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston.

He was a member and deacon at Lift Jesus Higher Fellowship, Jordan Creek. Robert liked to watch WVU and Herbert Hoover High School football games. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Eggleton and Reba Evelyn Roach Eggleton; sister, Reba Eggleton; granddaughter, Demiah Jane Thurston, Clarence Rice who was like a father to him.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Cavallier Eggleton; children, Robert Lee (Rachael) Eggleton, Jr., Sandra Leigh (Richard) Snyder, Stephen (Crystal) Wayne Eggleton, Stephanie Ann (Johnny) Keaton, Alisha Eggleton, Terry Kidd; mother-in-law, Dorothy Cavallier; grandchildren, Austin James Eggleton, Rebecca Nicole Eggleton, Rochelle Eggleton, Rosalind Eggleton, Alex Eggleton, Ryan Eggleton, Raymond Eggleton, Makayla Thirston, Sharon McCartney, Johana Keaton, Mahalya Thirston, Zachary Eggleton, Jordon Keeten, Johnny Keaton, Jr.

Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at Lift Jesus Higher Fellowship, Jordan Creek with Pastor Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will be in the Pauley Cemetery, Bomont.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
