David " Punkie" Elmore, 30, of Clendenin was taken from this world on August 23, 2017. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

David is preceded in death by his father Virgil David Elmore.

He is survived by his loving wife Tosha Elmore; children, Dallas Jones, Crista Arthur, Kaylee Elmore and Haylee Elmore; mother, Bessie Weese; grandmother, Cora B. Elmore; grandfather, John H. Elmore; aunts, Cora M. Elmore and Karen Burdette; uncles, John W. Elmore and Pastor Delfred Lee (Cathy) Elmore, and their children Robbie and Holly; brothers, Joseph Elmore and Andrew Elmore; sisters, Summer Elmore and Becky Seabolt; step-mother, Barbara Elmore; step-brothers Robert Keaton and Gary Keaton; step-sister, Laura Keaton; cousins, Courtney Hall, Tyler Hall and Logan Hall; mother-in-law, Ludema Arthur; and brother-in-law, Tony Arthur.

Service will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Delfred Lee Elmore officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Elmore Family Cemetery, Clendenin, WV.

Visitation will be one hour prior day of the service at the funeral home.
