Lottie Marie (Painter) Jones, 92, of Auburndale FL. formerly of Sissonville WV passed away on Monday July 31, 2017 from a short illness surrounded by her Florida family.

Lottie was born in Cicerone, WV on January 4, 1925. She owned and operated L & M Market located at the intersection of Poca River and Yukon Lake from 1972 until her retirement in 2008. She was thankful for her many friends and customers that came in the store over the years. She loved sharing stories of the children getting off of the school bus and coming into the store to visit her.

In her last years of life she enjoyed watching game shows, Nascar races and sitting on the porch enjoying the sunshine and eatting vanilla wafers.

Lottie was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Beulah Painter, her husband Luke Jones, son Johnny Painter, sister Audry Dodd, brothers Herbert, Owen, Earl, Damon, and Okey Painter.

Surviving Lottie are her daughter Vicky Moles (Allen), daughter in law Donnie Painter all of Sissionville, brother Lawrence Painter of Teays Valley, grandchildren Keith Painter, Kim Kayser, Jacob and Jerrad Moles, two greatgrandchildren Joshua and Jordan Kayser.

Visitation will be Saturday August 5, 2017 1:00-2:00pm at Hafers Funeral Home Elkview WV. Service to follow with Danny Beckner officiating. Burial will be at Dodd Cemetery in Frame, WV.
