Condolence: I knew Edna through her son David and Leslie Gallian, and can say she was most inviting and loving, and the essence of a true guiding light. I have fond memories of visits with her and extended family during my travels and the annual pig roasts.
Times like this can be troubling but Jesus gives us words of comfort found in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Condolence From: Barbara Snyder
Condolence: I have known both Lloyd and Edna since graduating from Optometry school in 1967 and have remained friends with Edna since then. Edna and I shared three things in common: ramp dinners, oyster dinners, and discussing her "grand dogs." I had tried unsuccessfully to contact her regarding the dates of some of the local ramp dinners this spring, but did make a tentative date with her for an oyster dinner this fall.
I introduced Edna to friend of mine and she sold her parents' home for her, and then my home - which had some legal entanglements - she sold it in short order.
Now, Edna has joined Lloyd; if I am so lucky to end in up their "neighborhood," perhaps we can "feast on some manna made from ramps and oysters!

Condolence: As a teenager i spent many nights with Edna's family in the old 2 story homeplace in Clendenin. What a barrel of fun we use to have with so may "kids" there. Herb and I moved away when we married but every time I'd see her when we visited Clendenin she always had a big smile, a great laugh and a hug. May the Lord comfort her children and grandchildren with the peace of heart that she's with Jesus and probably tying to sell Him real estate!!! Our prayers and condolences to all of you.
