Obituary for Helen Louise Taylor

Helen Louise Taylor, 89, of Charleston passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

Helen was always interested in fashion, and had worked for OJ Morrison Department Store and then Stone & Thomas Department Store. She was of the Church of Christ Denomination.

She dearly missed her late husband, Lovell "Bud" Taylor who preceded her in death, and is also preceded by her parents, George Hanna and Virginia Myers Hanna; sister, Daisy May Radford.

Helen is survived by her son, Michael Taylor and wife, Lois Ann of Simpsonville, SC; daughter, Pat Casto and husband Eddie of Big Chimney; grandchildren, Nikki Harper of Elk Hills, Andrew Taylor of Erlanger, KY, Aimee Taylor Reeves of Lexington, KY and seven great grandchildren.

Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Young officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Pallbearers will be Matt Kellogg, John White, Benjamin White, Ricky White, Danny Harper, Danny Harper, Jr.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.

The family would like to thank Cedar Ridge Center, Sissonville and Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston for the love and care they gave to Helen.
