Obituary for Luther Scott Dozier

Luther Scott Dozier
Luther Scott Dozier 96, of Charleston passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Shaffers Room and Board in Clendenin.
Mr. Dozier was a retired truck driver for Capitol Fuel, Inc. He was of Protestant faith and loved helping people. He served his country in the United States Army in World War II.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Mildred Chapman Dozier and his second wife Evelyn Cummings Dozier; daughter Ruth Dozier; brothers Ronald of California and Walter of Buffalo, Ohio; sisters Ivy Halstead and Birdie Shaffer of Buffalo, Ohio, and Flora Campbell of Scott Depot.
He is survived by his son, Jerry of Elkview; sisters Kathryn Nester of Buffalo, Ohio and Violet Nester of Clendenin.
Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Hafer Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Burdette officiating. Burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, WV.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, October 26, 2015 at the funeral home.
