Obituary for Irie W. Vance

Irie W. Vance, Jr.

Irie W. Vance, Jr., 60, of Pinch passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at his residence. He was a loving father whom was a hero to many. He will be truly missed.

He worked for Shamblin Stone, was a member of Salina Lodge 27 AF&AM, the Beni Kedem Shriners of Charleston and the Charleston Moose Lodge.

Irie was preceded in death by his son, Wesley Kyle Vance; parents, Irie and Georgia Comstock Vance.

Surviving is daughter, Brittney Nicole Vance; brothers, Scott Vance, Tim Vance, Randy Vance, Christopher Vance; sister, Lexie Neal and Kathy Lanham.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Beni Kedem Shriners at 100 Quarrier St, Charleston, WV 25301.

Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview with Rev. Robert Paintiff officiating. Burial will be in the Paintiff Cemetery, Wilsie.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
