Patricia Percy Shaffer
L.C. "Buss" Shaffer, Jr., 75, and his wife, Patricia Percy Shaffer, 76, of Charleston passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident on State Route 2 near Lesage.
Buss, was retired from Peake Energy and Teamsters Local 175. He is preceded in death by his parents, L.C. (Buss) Shaffer, Sr. and Violet Virginia Martin Shaffer.
Patricia was retired from McCabe Henley Real Estate and recently a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willard E. Percy and Margaret L. Percy Lambert.
Buss and Patricia where dedicated parents and grandparents to their family. And they were members of Elk Hills Presbyterian Church, Charleston.
Surviving are sons, Daniel J. (Kim) Shaffer of Charleston, Samuel W. (Rita J.) Shaffer of Charleston, daughter, Vikki L. Casanave of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Buss is also survived by his sister, Nancy (Shaffer) Loyd of Charleston. Patricia is also survived by brothers, Paul H. (Terry) Lambert and Jeffery A. (Della) Lambert of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Clara (Don) Case of VA.
Service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 14th 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Elkview with Pastor Cherrie Sizemore and Pastor Jim Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, July 13th 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 58 Mt. Pleasant Drive, Elkview.
