Joan Marie Quinn

Joan Quinn, 45, of Falling Rock passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at her residence.

She was a claims adjuster for CASCI and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchild. She also enjoyed music and playing the piano and was very proud of being a majorette and a band member.

Joan was preceded in death by her father: Bruce M. Hays and stepfather: John E. Kee

Surviving:

Husband: James Kevin Quinn

Daughter: Stacy Nicole Quinn Scott and husband Anthoney of Hometown

Son: Travis Kevin Quinn at home

Mother: Dovie Joan Kee

Granddaughter: Audrey Grace Scott of Hometown
Joan was anxiously awaiting the arrival of another granddaughter in February

Brother: Sam Hays and wife Tressie of Leesville, SC
Joe Hays and wife Connie of Big Chimney
Fredrick Dennis Hays and wife Charlotte of Elkview

Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the Hafer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Hays Cemetery, Falling Rock.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview is in charge of the arrangements.
