Obituary for Joyce Ann Wiseman
Joyce Ann Wiseman, 73, of Elkview passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.
She was born August 12, 1945 at Queen Shoals to the late William Ray Elswick and Lillie Ada Cadle Keaton. She is also preceded in death by her husband,Orville Wiseman, brother, Dale Elswick and sister, Faye Wiseman.
Joyce liked to paint, enjoyed playing cards, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. Her grandson, Shawn Wesley Fowler was precious to Joyce. The two of them would help take care of each other and enjoyed each others company. Joyce always smiled when Wesley patted her on the head and told her to "be a good girl."
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Gayle Fowler and fiancé, Lee Foster; step-children, Patty Boggess, and spouse, Jamie, Michael Wiseman, Debbie Fauber and spouse Jay, Joanna Hardwick and spouse, Dale, Rev. Homer Wiseman; siblings, Dora Wheeler and spouse, William, James D. Keaton and spouse, Mark Reinhart, Marilyn Keaton and spouse, Michael Dolan; 18 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Service will be 11:00 am Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Victor Keathley officiating. Burial will be in the Keaton Cemetery, Blue Creek.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
