Brenda Kay Swiney,

Brenda Kay Swiney, 69, of Elkview went home to be with the Lord, Friday, September 14, 2018 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.

She was born in Charleston to the late Paul and Marie Allen.

Brenda was a loving and caring mother. She was a faithful member of the Clendenin Church of the Nazarene and was a devoted employee for over 20 years to the Hooten Equipment Co. She was loved by many and will leave behind, many lasting memories.
She was survived by her daughter, Heather Givens and husband Craig of Elkview; brothers, Bobby Allen and Danny Allen of Indiana, Elvis Allen and Mike Allen of St. Albans, Tim Allen of South Charleston, Dale Allen of Huntington; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Larue officiating. Burial will be in the Droddy - Canterbury Cemetery, Walton.

Visitation will be one prior to the service at the funeral home.
