Dianna Lynn Garretson

Dianna Lynn Garretson, 67, of Charleston passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

She was born in Riverside, W.V. to the late Ernest and Grace Massey Garretson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Theodore "Teddy" Shirkey.

Dianna was a loving daughter, mother, and sister. She worked as a tax audit clerk for the state of W.V. for 17 years, she was an avid reader, and she loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Dawn Shirkey of Fl.; sisters, Teena Garretson of S. Charleston, and Dena Harbert of Elkview; brothers, Michael Garretson of Peru, In., Nathan Garretson of St. Albans, and Ernest Garretson Jr. of Peru, In.

A service will be held, 5:00 PM Friday, September 14, 2018 at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview, with Pastor Billy Burdette officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
