John Wayne Dolin, 44, of Elkview passed away September 8th, 2018. He was a 1992 graduate of Capital High School. John enlisted in the US Navy shortly after graduation and was stationed on the USS Kearsarge out of Norfolk, Va. He was a well tender with Hydrocarbon Well Services, Inc. where he joyfully worked alongside his father-in-law, Randall Keeling.
Known for his sense of humor, John made friends everywhere he went and enjoyed making people smile. He also made it his duty to help others in need. His family was his light and his life. John will be sadly missed by the many hearts that he touched over the years.
John is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Adams Payne.
Left to cherish John's memory is his loving wife of 16 years Justa Dolin, daughters Jillian Brooke and Jocelyn Raylee Dolin; father, George Dolin; sisters, Lisa Gardner (Bill Sloan), Sierra Dolin and Brittany Atkinson; father-in-law, Randall Keeling; mother-in-law, Terry Keeling; sister-in-law, Rachel Jarvis (Brian); nieces, Jessica Thomas, Hannah Gardner, Evelynn Jarvis, Eleanor Jarvis and Ellie Atkinson; nephew, Joe Thomas Frame and numerous extended family and friends.
A service honoring John's life will be 11:00am Friday, September 14th at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Leslie Gallian officiating. Entombment will follow the service in Elk Hills Memorial Mausoleums, Big Chimney. Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, September 13th at the funeral home.
